The CM Tooltip’s WordPress Glossary Import Add-On provides an easy way to import and replicate remote CM Glossaries across several sites/domains and automatically keep them updated.
Our WordPress glossary import Add-On works for all of the CM Tooltip Glossary editions – including the Free edition – and it allows to import the glossary across different plugin editions two. So you can import the Glossary of the CM Tooltip Glossary Ecommerce to the CM Tooltip Glossary Free edition. However in this case none of the categories, synonyms or abbreviations will be imported.
The CM Tooltip Glossary Remote Import can work in three different modes, to fulfill different needs:
Before you can import the remote glossary first you have to make a Backup. For more information – please visit the “CM Tooltip Guide: Glossary Backup” page
To protect your glossary backup from unauthorized access, we’ve introduced the simple PIN protection mechanism. In order to Remote Import the PIN protected glossary you have to enter the PIN code in one of the settings fields.
That largely depends on your choice. In the plugin settings, you can either choose to auto-approve new term suggestions, or have them pending an administrator approval. If you choose the later, the plugin system will let you moderate visitor term suggestions before they get published and added to your website’s vocabulary.
